Construction Update: March 2022
Construction on the Kailani site continues to move along at a steady pace. The Phase 2 structure has advanced to the seventh floor level and the team is continuing works on the Phase 3 basement. The fit out of the hotel’s model room is currently in process and ongoing. Ancillary works surrounding the structure are also progressing well.
CONSTRUCTION PROGRESS
PHASE 1
Structure is complete
Windows and doors have arrived on island and are being installed
Interior walls are in the process of being laid out
Ancillary works are progressing well
PHASE 2
Structure is now complete. Seventh level roof slab has been poured
Units 201 and 202 glass doors and windows are being installed
The staircase’s fire protection, electrical and plumbing works are roughed in up to the 7th floor level
The pool containment walls and slabs have been poured and propped for pool construction
MEP cans, block outs and sleeves are installed throughout
Ancillary works are progressing well
Unit 202 model room works are ongoing
All inspections for Unit 202 model room have been approved by BCU
PHASE 3
The southeast corner basement slab has been poured
Oil interceptor installed and plumbing works are completed in the pour area
Main panel conduits as well as some branch circuit conduits have been installed below slab in the pour areas
Floor drains and catch basins are in place and plumbing completed throughout
First floor southeast corner slab is being formed and will then be ready to be poured
First floor northwest corner slab is being formed and will then be ready to be poured
Ancillary works are progressing well around Phase 3 structure
MEP sleeves, block outs and cans have been installed throughout poured areas
