Construction Update: August 2021
Construction on the Kailani site continues to progress. The Phase 2 structure is now up to the fourth floor level and the team is presently concentrating on completing the Phase 3 basement. The fit out of the hotel’s model room has begun in which the MEP is currently being installed.
CONSTRUCTION PROGRESS
PHASE 1
The Phase 1 structure is complete. The windows have arrived on site and are awaiting installation
Construction of Phase 1’s concrete slab canopy over the entry doors (eyebrow) is formed and ready to pour
PHASE 2
The third floor walls are now ready to be poured
Staircase walls have been poured up to the fourth floor level
The staircase’s mechanical, electrical and plumbing works are roughed in up to the fourth floor level
The model room is currently being stud framed
All common partition walls for the units have now been framed
PHASE 3
Ramp 1’s ground floor slab in the north east corner is framed and ready to be inspected and poured
Ramp 2 is being prepped by backfilling, compacting and forming - in preparation for inspection and pour
